Barangay Santa Rita

Situated in Jaen, Nueva Ecija, Barangay Santa Rita is one of 27 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santa Rita had a population of 1,483. This made it the 23rd largest of 27 barangays in Jaen by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Rita accounted for approximately 1.87% of the total population of Jaen, which stood at 79,189 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,326 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,483 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +11.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santa Rita as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Jaen is a municipality comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Rita, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Nueva Ecija, which contains 849 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Santa Rita ranks 594th by 2020 population.
