Barangay Santo Tomas North

Barangay Santo Tomas North is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Jaen, located in the province of Nueva Ecija, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santo Tomas North had a population of 3,464. This made it the 11th largest of 27 barangays in Jaen by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Tomas North accounted for approximately 4.37% of the total population of Jaen, which stood at 79,189 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,323 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,464 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +4.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Santo Tomas North is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Jaen is a municipality comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santo Tomas North, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
