Barangay Ulanin-Pitak

Situated in Jaen, Nueva Ecija, Barangay Ulanin-Pitak is one of 27 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ulanin-Pitak had a population of 2,466. This made it the 15th largest of 27 barangays in Jaen by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ulanin-Pitak accounted for approximately 3.11% of the total population of Jaen, which stood at 79,189 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Ulanin-Pitak changed from 2,281 to 2,466, a shift of +8.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Jaen. Barangay Ulanin-Pitak is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Jaen is a municipality comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Ulanin-Pitak, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
