Barangay Pangdan

Barangay Pangdan is a small barangay in the municipality of Jagna, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pangdan had a population of 1,185. This made it the 14th largest of 33 barangays in Jagna by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pangdan accounted for approximately 3.31% of the total population of Jagna, which stood at 35,832 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pangdan moving from 1,177 residents to 1,185 residents, an intercensal change of +0.7%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pangdan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Jagna is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pangdan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
