Situated in Jimenez, Misamis Occidental, Barangay San Isidro is one of 24 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

This made it the 23rd largest of 24 barangays in Jimenez by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 1.66% of the total population of Jimenez, which stood at 28,909 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 401 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 480 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +19.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
