Barangay 4 (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay 4 (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Jipapad in Eastern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay 4 (Pob.) had a population of 1,725. This made it the 1st largest of 13 barangays in Jipapad by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 4 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 20.44% of the total population of Jipapad, which stood at 8,439 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay 4 (Pob.) moving from 1,625 residents to 1,725 residents, an intercensal change of +6.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay 4 (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Jipapad is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay 4 (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
