This made it the 19th largest of 19 barangays in Kiamba by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kling accounted for approximately 0.90% of the total population of Kiamba, which stood at 65,774 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Kling moving from 853 residents to 591 residents, an intercensal change of -30.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
