Barangay Mascariñas

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Mascariñas is one of the administrative divisions of Kibawe in Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mascariñas had a population of 754. This made it the 22nd largest of 23 barangays in Kibawe by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mascariñas accounted for approximately 1.80% of the total population of Kibawe, which stood at 41,897 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Mascariñas changed from 682 to 754, a shift of +10.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Kibawe. Barangay Mascariñas is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Kibawe is a municipality comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mascariñas, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bukidnon, which contains 464 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Mascariñas ranks 433rd by 2020 population.
