Barangay El Paraiso

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay El Paraiso is one of the administrative divisions of La Libertad in Zamboanga Del Norte, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay El Paraiso had a population of 838. This made it the 3rd largest of 13 barangays in La Libertad by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay El Paraiso accounted for approximately 10.32% of the total population of La Libertad, which stood at 8,119 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay El Paraiso changed from 929 to 838, a shift of -9.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in La Libertad. Barangay El Paraiso is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

La Libertad is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay El Paraiso, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
