Barangay Calabnian

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Calabnian is one of the administrative divisions of La Paz in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Calabnian had a population of 246. This made it the 33rd largest of 35 barangays in La Paz by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Calabnian accounted for approximately 1.28% of the total population of La Paz, which stood at 19,174 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Calabnian moving from 260 residents to 246 residents, an intercensal change of -5.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Calabnian is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
