Barangay Angeles

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Angeles is one of the administrative divisions of La Paz in Agusan Del Sur, Caraga, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Angeles had a population of 1,019. This made it the 14th largest of 15 barangays in La Paz by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Angeles accounted for approximately 3.29% of the total population of La Paz, which stood at 30,969 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Angeles moving from 823 residents to 1,019 residents, an intercensal change of +23.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Angeles as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
