Barangay Calabasa

Barangay Calabasa is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Labo, located in the province of Camarines Norte, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Calabasa had a population of 2,057. This made it the 22nd largest of 52 barangays in Labo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Calabasa accounted for approximately 1.88% of the total population of Labo, which stood at 109,245 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Calabasa moving from 1,727 residents to 2,057 residents, an intercensal change of +19.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Calabasa is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
