Barangay Pangpang

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Pangpang is one of the administrative divisions of Labo in Camarines Norte, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pangpang had a population of 676. This made it the 46th largest of 52 barangays in Labo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pangpang accounted for approximately 0.62% of the total population of Labo, which stood at 109,245 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pangpang moving from 569 residents to 676 residents, an intercensal change of +18.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Pangpang is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Labo is a municipality comprising 52 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pangpang, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
