Barangay Tucalana

Situated in Lal-Lo, Cagayan, Barangay Tucalana is one of 35 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tucalana had a population of 1,529. This made it the 11th largest of 35 barangays in Lal-Lo by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tucalana accounted for approximately 3.14% of the total population of Lal-Lo, which stood at 48,733 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tucalana moving from 1,270 residents to 1,529 residents, an intercensal change of +20.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
