Situated in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat, Barangay Caridad is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within SOCCSKSARGEN.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Caridad had a population of 1,345. This made it the 25th largest of 26 barangays in Lambayong by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Caridad accounted for approximately 1.69% of the total population of Lambayong, which stood at 79,739 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,081 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,345 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +24.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Caridad is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lambayong is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Caridad, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
