Barangay Lilit

Situated in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat, Barangay Lilit is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within SOCCSKSARGEN.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lilit had a population of 2,682. This made it the 13th largest of 26 barangays in Lambayong by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lilit accounted for approximately 3.36% of the total population of Lambayong, which stood at 79,739 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lilit changed from 2,317 to 2,682, a shift of +15.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Lambayong. Barangay Lilit is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lambayong is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lilit, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
