Barangay Cunarum

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Cunarum is one of the administrative divisions of Lambunao in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cunarum had a population of 1,411. This made it the 18th largest of 73 barangays in Lambunao by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cunarum accounted for approximately 1.74% of the total population of Lambunao, which stood at 81,236 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cunarum changed from 1,239 to 1,411, a shift of +13.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Lambunao. Barangay Cunarum is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lambunao is a municipality comprising 73 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cunarum, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
