Barangay San Gregorio

Barangay San Gregorio is a small barangay in the municipality of Lambunao, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Gregorio had a population of 739. This made it the 40th largest of 73 barangays in Lambunao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Gregorio accounted for approximately 0.91% of the total population of Lambunao, which stood at 81,236 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Gregorio moving from 726 residents to 739 residents, an intercensal change of +1.8%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Gregorio as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
