Barangay Zone II (Pob.)

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Zone II (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Lanuza in Surigao Del Sur, Caraga, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Zone II (Pob.) had a population of 351. This made it the 13th largest of 13 barangays in Lanuza by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Zone II (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.57% of the total population of Lanuza, which stood at 13,642 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Zone II (Pob.) changed from 319 to 351, a shift of +10.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Lanuza. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Zone II (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lanuza is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Zone II (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
