Barangay Talogtog

Barangay Talogtog forms part of Laoac, a municipality in Pangasinan, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Talogtog had a population of 1,121. This made it the 19th largest of 22 barangays in Laoac by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Talogtog accounted for approximately 3.28% of the total population of Laoac, which stood at 34,128 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,080 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,121 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Talogtog is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Laoac is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Talogtog, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pangasinan, which contains 1,364 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Talogtog ranks 1113th by 2020 population. Pangasinan is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.

The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
