Barangay Casiklan

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Casiklan is one of the administrative divisions of Las Nieves in Agusan Del Norte, Caraga, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Casiklan had a population of 2,032. This made it the 4th largest of 20 barangays in Las Nieves by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Casiklan accounted for approximately 6.72% of the total population of Las Nieves, which stood at 30,240 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Casiklan moving from 2,066 residents to 2,032 residents, an intercensal change of -1.6%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Casiklan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
