Barangay 5 (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay 5 (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Laurel in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay 5 (Pob.) had a population of 714. This made it the 19th largest of 21 barangays in Laurel by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 5 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.65% of the total population of Laurel, which stood at 43,210 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 790 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 714 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -9.6%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay 5 (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
