Barangay Bukal

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bukal is one of the administrative divisions of Lemery in Batangas, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bukal had a population of 2,243. This made it the 16th largest of 46 barangays in Lemery by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bukal accounted for approximately 2.41% of the total population of Lemery, which stood at 93,186 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,159 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,243 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bukal as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lemery is a municipality comprising 46 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bukal, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
