Barangay Ugbon

Barangay Ugbon is a small barangay in the municipality of Leyte, located in the province of Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ugbon had a population of 1,380. This made it the 9th largest of 30 barangays in Leyte by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ugbon accounted for approximately 3.42% of the total population of Leyte, which stood at 40,397 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ugbon moving from 1,185 residents to 1,380 residents, an intercensal change of +16.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
