Barangay Libtong

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Libtong is one of the administrative divisions of Libon in Albay, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Libtong had a population of 729. This made it the 40th largest of 47 barangays in Libon by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Libtong accounted for approximately 0.97% of the total population of Libon, which stood at 75,073 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Libtong moving from 886 residents to 729 residents, an intercensal change of -17.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Libtong is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
