Barangay Linao

Barangay Linao forms part of Libon, a municipality in Albay, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 18th largest of 47 barangays in Libon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Linao moving from 1,544 residents to 1,653 residents, an intercensal change of +7.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Linao as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Libon is a municipality comprising 47 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Linao, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
