Barangay Talin-talin

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Talin-talin is one of the administrative divisions of Libon in Albay, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Talin-talin had a population of 1,479. This made it the 21st largest of 47 barangays in Libon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Talin-talin accounted for approximately 1.97% of the total population of Libon, which stood at 75,073 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Talin-talin moving from 1,555 residents to 1,479 residents, an intercensal change of -4.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Talin-talin as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Libon is a municipality comprising 47 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Talin-talin, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Albay, which contains 720 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Talin-talin ranks 353rd by 2020 population.
