Barangay Macalingan

Barangay Macalingan is a small barangay in the municipality of Lila, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Macalingan had a population of 590. This made it the 12th largest of 18 barangays in Lila by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Macalingan accounted for approximately 4.82% of the total population of Lila, which stood at 12,240 in the same census year.
