Barangay Yati

Situated in Liloan, Cebu, Barangay Yati is one of 14 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Yati had a population of 37,046. This made it the 1st largest of 14 barangays in Liloan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Yati accounted for approximately 24.18% of the total population of Liloan, which stood at 153,197 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Yati moving from 27,367 residents to 37,046 residents, an intercensal change of +35.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Yati is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Liloan is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Yati, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
