Barangay Triana

Barangay Triana is a small barangay in the municipality of Limasawa, located in the province of Southern Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Triana had a population of 1,201. This made it the 3rd largest of 6 barangays in Limasawa by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Triana accounted for approximately 19.40% of the total population of Limasawa, which stood at 6,191 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Triana moving from 1,190 residents to 1,201 residents, an intercensal change of +0.9%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
