Barangay Matalava

Situated in Lingayen, Pangasinan, Barangay Matalava is one of 32 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Matalava had a population of 2,931. This made it the 13th largest of 32 barangays in Lingayen by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Matalava accounted for approximately 2.72% of the total population of Lingayen, which stood at 107,728 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Matalava changed from 2,827 to 2,931, a shift of +3.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Lingayen. Barangay Matalava is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
