Barangay 2 (Pob.)

Situated in Llorente, Eastern Samar, Barangay 2 (Pob.) is one of 33 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay 2 (Pob.) had a population of 356. This made it the 23rd largest of 33 barangays in Llorente by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 2 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.66% of the total population of Llorente, which stood at 21,459 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay 2 (Pob.) changed from 341 to 356, a shift of +4.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Llorente. Barangay 2 (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
