Barangay Concepcion

Barangay Concepcion is a large barangay in the municipality of Lubao, located in the province of Pampanga, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Concepcion had a population of 8,473. This made it the 3rd largest of 44 barangays in Lubao by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Concepcion accounted for approximately 4.88% of the total population of Lubao, which stood at 173,502 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Concepcion changed from 7,493 to 8,473, a shift of +13.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Lubao. Barangay Concepcion is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Lubao is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Concepcion, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
