Barangay Del Carmen

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Del Carmen is one of the administrative divisions of Lubao in Pampanga, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Del Carmen had a population of 2,312. This made it the 32nd largest of 44 barangays in Lubao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Del Carmen accounted for approximately 1.33% of the total population of Lubao, which stood at 173,502 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Del Carmen changed from 1,936 to 2,312, a shift of +19.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Lubao. Barangay Del Carmen is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Lubao is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Del Carmen, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
