Barangay Lalog 1

Situated in Luna, Isabela, Barangay Lalog 1 is one of 19 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

This made it the 5th largest of 19 barangays in Luna by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lalog 1 accounted for approximately 6.84% of the total population of Luna, which stood at 20,697 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lalog 1 changed from 1,277 to 1,416, a shift of +10.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Luna. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lalog 1 as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
