Barangay Bagangan Sr.

Barangay Bagangan Sr. is a small barangay in the municipality of Lupi, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bagangan Sr. had a population of 521. This made it the 26th largest of 38 barangays in Lupi by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bagangan Sr. accounted for approximately 1.54% of the total population of Lupi, which stood at 33,897 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 603 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 521 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -13.6%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Bagangan Sr. is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
