Barangay Tagboa

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Tagboa is one of the administrative divisions of Lupon in Davao Oriental, Davao Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Tagboa had a population of 1,800. This made it the 14th largest of 21 barangays in Lupon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tagboa accounted for approximately 2.69% of the total population of Lupon, which stood at 66,979 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tagboa moving from 1,628 residents to 1,800 residents, an intercensal change of +10.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Tagboa as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
