Barangay Bayasong

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Bayasong is one of the administrative divisions of Lutayan in Sultan Kudarat, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bayasong had a population of 3,978. This made it the 9th largest of 11 barangays in Lutayan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bayasong accounted for approximately 6.06% of the total population of Lutayan, which stood at 65,644 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bayasong moving from 4,077 residents to 3,978 residents, an intercensal change of -2.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bayasong as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
