Situated in Maconacon, Isabela, Barangay Diana is one of 10 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Diana had a population of 192. This made it the 9th largest of 10 barangays in Maconacon by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Diana accounted for approximately 4.83% of the total population of Maconacon, which stood at 3,977 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Diana changed from 165 to 192, a shift of +16.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Maconacon. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Diana as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
