Barangay Santa Marina

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Santa Marina is one of the administrative divisions of Maconacon in Isabela, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santa Marina had a population of 379. This made it the 5th largest of 10 barangays in Maconacon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santa Marina accounted for approximately 9.53% of the total population of Maconacon, which stood at 3,977 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 435 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 379 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -12.9%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Santa Marina is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Maconacon is a municipality comprising 10 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santa Marina, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Isabela, which contains 1,055 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Santa Marina ranks 998th by 2020 population.
