Barangay Divisoria Sur

Barangay Divisoria Sur is a small barangay in the municipality of Maddela, located in the province of Quirino, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Divisoria Sur had a population of 1,131. This made it the 14th largest of 32 barangays in Maddela by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Divisoria Sur accounted for approximately 2.76% of the total population of Maddela, which stood at 40,943 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 999 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,131 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +13.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Divisoria Sur is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
