Barangay Bendita I

Barangay Bendita I forms part of Magallanes, a municipality in Cavite, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bendita I had a population of 1,999. This made it the 4th largest of 16 barangays in Magallanes by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bendita I accounted for approximately 8.38% of the total population of Magallanes, which stood at 23,851 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,944 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,999 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +2.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bendita I as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Magallanes is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bendita I, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
