Barangay Ramirez

Barangay Ramirez is a small barangay in the municipality of Magallanes, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Ramirez had a population of 1,841. This made it the 7th largest of 16 barangays in Magallanes by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ramirez accounted for approximately 7.72% of the total population of Magallanes, which stood at 23,851 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Ramirez moving from 1,756 residents to 1,841 residents, an intercensal change of +4.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Ramirez is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
