Barangay Babasalon

Barangay Babasalon is a small barangay in the municipality of Magsaysay, located in the province of Lanao Del Norte, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Babasalon had a population of 769. This made it the 11th largest of 24 barangays in Magsaysay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Babasalon accounted for approximately 3.76% of the total population of Magsaysay, which stood at 20,463 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Babasalon moving from 802 residents to 769 residents, an intercensal change of -4.1%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
