Barangay Lubo

Situated in Magsaysay, Lanao Del Norte, Barangay Lubo is one of 24 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lubo had a population of 1,124. This made it the 4th largest of 24 barangays in Magsaysay by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lubo accounted for approximately 5.49% of the total population of Magsaysay, which stood at 20,463 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lubo changed from 1,015 to 1,124, a shift of +10.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Magsaysay. Barangay Lubo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Magsaysay is a municipality comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lubo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
