Barangay Candiis

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Candiis is one of the administrative divisions of Malangas in Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Candiis had a population of 1,579. This made it the 6th largest of 25 barangays in Malangas by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Candiis accounted for approximately 4.93% of the total population of Malangas, which stood at 32,022 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Candiis moving from 1,517 residents to 1,579 residents, an intercensal change of +4.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
