Barangay Poblacion 2

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Poblacion 2 is one of the administrative divisions of Mamburao in Occidental Mindoro, MIMAROPA Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion 2 had a population of 2,084. This made it the 9th largest of 15 barangays in Mamburao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion 2 accounted for approximately 4.37% of the total population of Mamburao, which stood at 47,705 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Poblacion 2 moving from 2,221 residents to 2,084 residents, an intercensal change of -6.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
