Barangay Poblacion 4

Barangay Poblacion 4 is a small barangay in the municipality of Mamburao, located in the province of Occidental Mindoro, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Poblacion 4 had a population of 732. This made it the 11th largest of 15 barangays in Mamburao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion 4 accounted for approximately 1.53% of the total population of Mamburao, which stood at 47,705 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 866 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 732 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -15.5%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Poblacion 4 is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Mamburao is a municipality comprising 15 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Poblacion 4, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
