Barangay Maolingon

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Maolingon is one of the administrative divisions of Mandaon in Masbate, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Maolingon had a population of 3,142. This made it the 3rd largest of 26 barangays in Mandaon by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maolingon accounted for approximately 7.12% of the total population of Mandaon, which stood at 44,122 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Maolingon moving from 2,847 residents to 3,142 residents, an intercensal change of +10.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Maolingon is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
