Barangay Guiguilonen

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Guiguilonen is one of the administrative divisions of Mangaldan in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Guiguilonen had a population of 3,452. This made it the 14th largest of 30 barangays in Mangaldan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Guiguilonen accounted for approximately 3.05% of the total population of Mangaldan, which stood at 113,185 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Guiguilonen changed from 2,945 to 3,452, a shift of +17.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Mangaldan. Barangay Guiguilonen is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Mangaldan is a municipality comprising 30 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Guiguilonen, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pangasinan, which contains 1,364 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Guiguilonen ranks 227th by 2020 population.
